Perhaps, if it weren’t so ideally ironic, people would not notice as much.
When you write a song and the chorus includes “They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said NO, NO, NO” you’ve got to expect that it will motivate people to critique your behavior.
That combined with some largely publicized confessions of drug use have made Ms. Winehouse no exception.
After making a step in the right direction by actually attending the Nelson Mandela 46664 Concert in London on Friday, Amy Winehouse also managed to attend the Glastonbury music festival on Saturday.
I watched her Friday performance and although many media outlets are calling it a great performance, it leaves me to wonder if they are watching the same one I am.
Amy Winehouse is incredibly talented; she has an amazing voice, and a style that personifies her music. At her performance at the Nelson Mandela concert it appears that she can barely focus.
She mumbles most of the way through the songs, and seemed to forget half the words in “Rehab”. The next day at the Glastonbury Music Festival, Amy gave the performance of a lifetime, just not in the way she should. Instead of showing off her musical talent, Amy decided to show her interpersonal skills, or lack thereof.
While there she managed to insult two of the biggest names in music, Jay-Z and Kanye West, calling the latter the c-word, spit on fans, yelled at fans, and then attempted to punch one of her fans. To her credit Amy Winehouse was able to continue to sing while throwing punches, and that was my favorite part.

Why does everyone in the press keep covering this nasty, crack-smoking rat bitch? She has 2 hit singles and people go ape shit over her? Maybe she should spend her money on 1) a cheeseburgrer, 2) getting her crooked teeth fixed and 3) a new hairdo. She’s utterly disgusting
