The Face2Face concert Billy Joel and Elton John were scheduled to perform on Tuesday in San Jose, California has been postponed because Billy Joel is sick.
“Live Nation and Another Planet Entertainment, as well as HP Pavilion at San Jose, were informed today that Billy Joel is unable to tour due to medical reasons. Organizers of the concert are working to establish a new concert date. All patrons who have purchased tickets for the Face2Face concert scheduled for Nov. 17 at the HP Pavilion are being asked to hold on to their tickets until more information is available regarding the proposed rescheduled engagement. Both Billy Joel and Elton are disappointed to be postponing the Nov. 17 concert, and are looking forward to announcing a new concert date, once the availabilities have been worked out by all parties.”
Elton John recently was forced to cancel several solo concerts, as well as some joint concerts with Joel, because he was suffering from the flu and an E.coli infection.
Joel’s medical reasons for canceling were not specified.
