“Precious” star Gabourey Sidibe says she is boycotting the internet after finding some hurtful comments about her size online.
Sidibe was picked to star as “Precious” in the Oprah Winfrey critically acclaimed new movie. Mariah Carey is also one of the stars in this must see true story.
She is enjoying the exposure her sudden fame has brought her, but admits there have been some negative side effects.
“I try to stay off the internet, just because people hurt my feelings sometimes. My audition tape ended up on YouTube, and, like 40,000 people have seen it, and a lot of people have commented that I’m an incredible actress. But other opinions weren’t so nice, physically or whatever.”
