Tobey Maguire gets confused with his co-stars.

Tobey Maguire says people often confuse him with Elijah Wood and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Tobey, 34, has revealed that he not only gets mistaken for his fellow actors but actually pretends to be them when he feels like it.

“I’m told that I’m Jake sometimes. I have had comments about Brokeback Mountain a couple of times. It’s strange how that happens but I just go with it. Another one is Elijah Wood. I’ve had times where people ask me for my autograph and then they say, ‘Oh you were so great in that movie.’ Which I wasn’t in! So I just sign that person’s name, and say, ‘Thank you very much’.”
